Make your own traditional Chinese lantern and join the crowd in celebrating the Year of the Tiger as the 2010 Chinese New Year & Lantern Festival lights up Glen Waverley's Kingsway Precinct.
The second annual Chinese New Year & Lantern Festival will be held on Sunday, 28 February from 11am - 8pm and will feature lantern making, free games and activities for children, a Chinese Cultural Show and a full program of free entertainment.
The internationally famed Khuan Yee Lion Dancers will return to the festival to present their award winning Lion Dance, which is performed on top of 1.8m poles and proved to be a favourite attraction last year.
The festival will feature food and trade stalls, Chinese arts and crafts, games, rock climbing, a main stage at Coleman Parade, a children's area in the forecourt of the Glen Waverley Public Library and 'Carnival Alley' in Montclair Avenue
